R.I.C.H. House Shelter

The R.I.C.H. House is a local safe house in the Sulphur Springs area operated by the Tampa Police Department. It's a place where kids can go after school to study and learn instead of being left on the streets to be targeted by gangs.

The House needed a covered, outdoor space where kids could play safely, sheltered from the hot, Florida sun. The Dream Team, a group of Lazydays mechanics, skilled in painting, carpentry and construction, spent two weekends building a large, covered pavilion. As a result, the Tampa Police Department can now give more kids a safe place to play after school. As a way of saying thanks, they gave us their "Business of the Year" award for our contribution.
